God is our maker, and we are His people. This means there are certain attributes only the maker of us has. One of those attributes is the right to LABEL us. If we check the back of our shirts there’s a tag there. Who put that tag? The maker of that shirt.
We could write on top of it, put something else instead, or even rip it off, however all of those actions have no actual bearing on the fabric, the essence, of the shirt because we weren’t the Maker.
Our Maker seals us with the following words among many others: mine, worth it, valuable, one of a kind, special, purposeful, and loved. Let us keep in mind there’s only One authorized to label us: our Maker.
