Foolish Things

“Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be just like him.” Proverbs 26:4 NIV

Sometimes it’s clear cut “I’m dealing with a fool”, but most of the time it isn’t a fool, but foolish things we deal with on a regular basis.

It’s usually non ill intended, but careless comments coming our way, and when this happens I believe the Bible’s point is right on the money when it says do not get down to the same level, as it’ll make things just worse and jump in a never ending loop.

When do we experience foolish comments most? From loved ones. Both my personal experience and professional work tells me this. Let us create healthy boundaries, proper perspective, and enough self love to not have/need to lower ourselves when fooling arrows are thrown our way.

My name is Arturo and I am loved by God and in response to that I best serve others by adding VALUE to their lives. My goal is to enrich lives, relationships, and communities.
From an artistic standpoint I’m a visual communicator and via the use of photography I seek promote beauty, concepts, and messages. Spiritually speaking I've served as a chaplain at a addiction/recovery rehabilitation center, and before that as a youth pastor, missionary, and Young Life/Club Beyond staff for many years here in the USA and abroad.
On the mental health side I currently serve as a life coach, certified addiction recovery specialist, and marriage and family counselor.
