Privacy isn’t Private

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Proverbs 9:10 NIV

The awareness of accountability, that sense of feeling one represents a family name, that is the beginning of wisdom. The fear of the Lord isn’t being terrified at Him, but having the awareness of His presence at all times. He is our comfort but by the same token He is there when we screw up as well. However the thought (awareness) of God is rarely with us when we deliberately chose things we aren’t too proud of.

Just like a family name, we bear the image of God with us, each and everyone of us. Practicing this awareness will keep us from embarrassing situations since everything comes to the light and to the open. Eventually everything, sooner or later, catches up with us. Privacy is more of a myth than a reality. Private decisions have public consequences.

Let us practice the awareness of God in our daily lives, starting today.

My name is Arturo and I am loved by God and in response to that I best serve others by adding VALUE to their lives. My goal is to enrich lives, relationships, and communities.
